Audio Video Wall Plates

Before you explore the tabs above you may want to learn some details of connectors and materials we use.

MATERIAL: All our plates are made material known as thermoplastic nylon (also known as "unbreakable"). Unlike common plates which frequently crack under lightest pressure (like for example when you attempt to tighten mounting screw), our wall plates are considerably stronger and therefore superior to similar plates.

COLORS: Standard color for wall plates is white. Other available colors are: black, ivory, brown, gray and red - availability of plates in optional colors varies, some are in stock nearly at all times, some others have to be special ordered which may add number of days before we can produce and ship your plate.

All connectors are female-to-female which means all you need to make connections are cables with corresponding male plugs.

ABOUT OUR BINDING POSTS: All our binding posts are true five-way, which means you can make connections in either one of the following ways:
                                                      1. single banana plug
                                                      2. dual banana plug
                                                      3. variety of dedicated speaker connectors
                                                      4. raw wire (stripped)
                                                      5. tinned wire (stripped and tinned)

We offer three styles of posts. Style of post is coded in wall plate model number. Wall plates with numbers beginning with number 5 utilize binding posts series 5, wall plates starting with number 7 utilize binding posts series 7 and the same goes for number 8.

Series 5 is what is sometimes called binding post-to-binding post - it looks the same on both sides of the plate. Series 5 binding post is made of gold plated brass and it accepts 5/32" (5 mm) banana plug on the axis and up to 4 AWG / 5/32" / 4 mm diameter wire on side.
Series 7 has color coded plastic head in front and soldering tab on the back. It accepts 5/32" (4 mm) banana plug on the axis and up to 4 AWG / 3/16" / 5 mm diameter wire on side
Series 8 has gold plated color coded brass head in front and soldering tab on the back. It accepts 5/32" (4 mm) banana plug on the axis and up to 3 AWG / just under 1/4"" / 6 mm diameter wire on side
